Use Glucotrol as directed by your doctor. Take Glucotrol 30 minutes before a meal. Do not take charcoal–containing medicines within 2 hours of Glucotrol . Take Glucotrol regularly to receive the most benefit from it. Taking Glucotrol at the same time each day will help you to remember to take it.

Protonix

Protonix is used for short–term treatment of severe inflammation and erosion of the esophagus due to GERD. May also be used to treat other conditions.

Drug Uses

Protonix is used for short–term treatment (7–10 days) of severe inflammation and erosion of the esophagus due to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD, or stomach contents rising back into the esophagus) in adults. Protonix is also used to treat certain conditions associated with Zollinger–Ellison syndrome and similar conditions.

How Taken

Use Protonix as directed by your doctor. To avoid stomach upset take Protonix with a meal. Protonix should not be taken within 4 hours of imidazoles (eg, ketoconazole).

Fioricet

Fioricet is often prescribed to relieve tension headaches caused by contractions of the muscles in the neck and shoulder area, and migraine.

Drug Uses

Fioricet is a barbiturate sedative mixed with a non–aspirin pain medication and caffeine. This nonnarcotic pain medication and relaxant is often prescribed to relieve tension headaches caused by contractions of the muscles in the neck and shoulder area, and migraine.

How Taken

Fioricet comes as a capsule or tablet to take in orally. The usual dosage is 1–2 tablets every 4 hours as needed. Total daily dosage should not be more than 6 tablets. Extended and repeated use of this product is not recommended as this drug may be habit forming.

What is/are Micardis HCT?

TELMISARTAN; HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE is a combination of a drug that relaxes blood vessels and a diuretic. It is used to treat high blood pressure. This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.

What should I tell my health care providers before I take this medicine?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

• decreased urine
• if you are on a special diet, like a low-salt diet
• immune system problems, like lupus
• kidney disease
• liver disease
• an unusual or allergic reaction to telmisartan, hydrochlorothiazide, sulfa drugs, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
• pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• breast-feeding

What are bisoprolol tablets?

BISOPROLOL (Zebeta®) belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers. Beta-blockers reduce the workload on the heart and help it to beat more regularly. Bisoprolol controls, but does not cure, high blood pressure (hypertension). Bisoprolol may also be used to improve symptoms in patients with heart disease. Generic bisoprolol tablets are available.
