Causes Of Indigestion Pain
Indigestion pain affects many people around the world today and is usually caused by simple causes that can be treated through dietary changes or some over the counter medication. In some cases, however, there are more serious issues involved that may need the help of a physician to cure or at least soothe the problem. There are only a small number of cases where the indigestion chest pain or pain in other areas are symptoms of a more serious issue like gallstones or cancer, but it is always wise to go to the doctor for a check up if the symptoms persist after over the counter treatments.
Typical Causes
Once cause of indigestion pain is heartburn which is often caused by overeating or by eating a large amount of acidic foods. It can also be caused by a condition called acid reflux, which is where there is a defective valve in the esophagus that allows the stomach acid to come back up in the throat. This type of indigestion pain can usually be helped by changing eating habits and by utilizing over the counter antacid medications.

Dr. Ida P. Rolf (1896-1979) developed a body of work that was concerned not so much with the alleviation of symptoms, but with the potential of human body.
By all accounts a formidable woman, as evidenced by a PhD. in Biochemistry (1920) and a position as a research fellow at the Rockefeller Institute (until she left to raise her two sons in 1929), Ida Rolf encountered Osteopathy, as well as Homeopathy and Yoga through personal and family health issues, and took her interest from the theoretical (to which she brought her considerable scientific powers), to the empirical and practical.

Natural Antidepressants
Natural Antidepressants
by: Max Bellamy
The Natural Antidepressants that impress their effectiveness on experts minds include St. Johns wort (Hypericum perforatum), SAM-e (S-adenosyl-L-methionine), and 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan).
St. Johns wort (Hypericum perforatum L.) extract has proved its Antidepressant efficacy to the market. It is a medicinal herb of centuries-old therapeutic stand and has been named arnica of the nerves because of its therapeutic benefit to the nervous diseases. Its benefit of improving mood and quality of sleep are the reasons for its use in mild to moderate depression. The chemical constituents that may be responsible for the safe Antidepressant action of this widely used Antidepressant are hypericin, naphtodianthrones, flavonoids, phenylpropanes, biflavones, terpene and sesquiterpene oils, tannins, xanthones, phloroglucinols, and essential oils. Many of the pharmacological activities appear to be present because of the presence of hypericin and flavonoid constituents. St. Johns wort inhibits the re-uptake of serotonin, noradrenaline, and dopamine. It also inhibits monoamine oxidase (MAO), a complex enzyme system that metabolizes excess serotonin and epinephrine. This interference with re-uptake of neurotransmitters and inhibition of MAO is believed to underline its Antidepressant activity.
6 Natural Ways To Lower Cholesterol
6 Natural Ways to Lower Cholesterol
By: Andrew Bicknell
Cholesterol is a waxy substance found in all animal tissue, including humans, and is found in all foods that come from animal sources. The highest sources of dietary cholesterol come from egg yolks and organ meats such as the liver or kidneys.
There are two primary forms of cholesterol; low-density lipoproteins (LDLs) and high-density lipoproteins (HDLs). LDL cholesterol is considered the bad cholesterol because its primary purpose is to provide cholesterol to the cells. It is transported through the blood stream and tends to drop off along the way, clogging arteries and blood vessels, and contributing to plaque formation. HDL cholesterol on the other hand removes LDL cholesterol from the circulatory system and returns it to the liver which removes it from the body.
